Job Description: Bulkmatic is hiring for an AVP, Account Management and Sales position. This role has overall responsibility for supporting customers within their area of responsibility and developing relationships that lead to long term Bulkmatic Solutions customers that grow annually with improved margins. An AVP Sales and Account Management is expected to help develop and meet sales targets for their areas of responsibility. All interactions with customers and staff will represent the company professionally. This a remote position and reports directly to the EVP, Marketing and Sales.

Job Requirements: Sales Responsibilities:
  • Expert around all growth opportunities - timing, competitors, Bulkmatic strategy for capture
  • Volume and revenue growth from assigned customers
  • Contract administration
  • Managing bids and bid strategy with pricing
  • Quoting for new business opportunities including single lanes for assigned accounts
  • Present rate quotes as value-added proposals
  • Rate increases for assigned accounts
  • Ensuring Salesforce CRM is updated timely and accurately according to Bulkmatic standards
Account Management Responsibilities:
  • Customer Experience Steward/Owner - Voice of the customer inside Bulkmatic
  • Develop 3X3 relationships with multiple levels of customers' organizations
  • Customer service performance reporting and monitoring
  • Yield Improvement from assigned customers
  • Owner of coordinating company responses to:
    • Quality issues
    • Audit issues
    • Claims
    • Service Issues
  • Ownership for billing issues and collections
  • Owner of identifying "business at risk" for service or other issues.
    • Open CRM Case management
  • Owner of getting set up with customer systems and requirements
  • Owner of recording and communicating Operational Requirements to customer service
  • Owner of Trailer Requirements and management of customer equipment productivity
  • Owner of recording and communicating Wash Requirements
  • Properly follow Bulkmatic Customer Onboarding processes
  • Schedule and lead Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Monitor and address issues with Key Performance Indicators
Success Metrics
  • Volume and revenue growth in asset and brokerage solutions
  • Improved revenue metrics
  • Service Performance to customers' KPI's
  • DSO and open A/R within terms
  • 3x3x3 relationships with assigned customers highest level decision makers
  • Regular documented meetings, calls and QBR's in CRM
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • Must have at least four years of sales or account management experience.
  • Must have a verifiable work history.
  • Must be willing to travel

  • Demonstrated history of being a strong team player and solving problems with a team.
  • Being an effective communicator (written and verbal).
  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license
