Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and analytical Entry Level Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with 0-2 years of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in business, complemented by a computer science minor or a degree in computer science with a business focus. The BI Analyst will work closely with departmental leaders to leverage data to provide insights and drive strategic decision-making. This position also involves aspects of database administration, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for analysis. Job Requirements:
- Analyze and interpret business data to provide actionable insights for business leaders. Work in conjunction with departmental leaders to provide ad hoc reporting, data analysis, and proof-of-concept to enhance and support decision-making across the business.
- Assist in the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions, reports, and dashboards.
- Support the maintenance and optimization of BI tools and databases, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Create, update, and maintain queries and reports using BI tools such as Power BI. Daily/Weekly/Monthly scheduled report generation and maintenance
- Perform database administration tasks including data backups and troubleshooting data-related issues.
- Assist with the design and management of data warehouses, ensuring data is structured for efficient analysis.
- Support data governance and ensure compliance with data policies.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on BI tools and reports.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (Business degree with Computer Science minor or Computer Science degree with Business minor).
- 0-2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or database administration role.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, or similar tools for data visualization and reporting.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database management systems
- Understanding data analysis concepts, statistical techniques, and business analytics.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on data accuracy and quality.
Preferred Skills: - Must be competent with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and architecture.
